VOLTAGE is rooted in the golden era of trance and the big mainstage, and built for today: sets with a clear direction from the first track to the last, a precise light show and a crowd that travels to be there.

We look for places with a story and open them up for a single night. The next day, we invite everyone behind the scenes.

We are not against technology: we use it to build a better drop and a better journey through the night, and to find inspiration where it once took months of listening. The choices stay with the people who write and play the music. It is our view, not a dogma: at RESONANCE we put it up for debate with people who see it differently.

VOLTAGE has no fixed home. It moves across Tuscany, city by city, in three formats.

LEGACYthe mainstage nights

An iconic venue in every Tuscan capital

In each of Tuscany’s ten provincial capitals we choose a landmark the whole city knows: a historic palazzo, a former factory, a masterpiece of modern architecture. For one night it becomes a dance hall, with a single stage and full festival-scale production.

The journey begins in March 2027 with IGNITION, then moves on one city at a time.

The day after every LEGACY

RESONANCE is the cultural day that follows every LEGACY night, in the same city. The night creates the signal; RESONANCE turns it into something that lasts, through masterclasses, talks, live art and an archive of the weekend. From drop to trace.

Open to the LEGACY crowd, to students and to anyone curious about how electronic music is made, with a morning programme for schools.

Anatomy of a DropNot the transition between two tracks, but the moment that makes one: how tension is built, and released, in the drop.
AI meets the ConservatoryThe people generating music with AI and the people teaching it at a conservatory, at the same table: a prepared debate, with questions from the floor.
Young DJ ContestAn open call for emerging DJs. The finalists play live in front of a panel of record labels.
Talks: music, cities, industryArtists, promoters, institutions and the crew behind the scenes, in conversation.
The Wall That ListensA crew of writers turns the sounds and words of the day into large panels, painted live.
Voltage Black BoxThe weekend’s archive: photos, video, the young DJs and the talks, kept online long after the day ends.

The DJ at the centre

At IMPACT the booth sits in the middle of the room and the crowd surrounds it. Lights and sound are arranged in a full circle, so every spot on the floor feels the same.

No back of the room, no distant stage: wherever you stand, you are close to the music. IMPACT keeps the VOLTAGE sound alive between one LEGACY and the next.

VOLTAGE brings to Tuscany the headliners fans usually travel abroad to see, from the international mainstage and trance scene.

They share the bill with leading Italian artists and the new talent discovered through RESONANCE.
